DON'T TREAT ME DIFFERENTLY LENA: You may say my skin is a shade darker than yours You may say my hair is an inch longer than yours But these aren't things I'm ashamed of There's some things I just can't change about myself You may say I'm a girl, so I can't be a part of your team You may say you're a boy, so you're just better than me And so I say to you Don't treat me differently Treat me the way you'd like to be So please be nice to me Cos nobody likes it when you're mean Everyone has something that makes us all unique It doesn't have to depend on whether I'm strong or weak So don't treat me differently Treat me the way you'd like to be So please be kind to me Cos we're all human beings We ought to treat each other with love and dignity Everyone has something that makes us all unique It doesn't have to depend on whether I'm strong or weak This is what I say to you Don't treat me differently Treat me the way you'd like to be So please be nice to me Cos nobody likes it when you're mean.
3.
PIG GOES OINK LENA: I went to my father's farm And what do I see? I saw a bunch of animals Staring right at me First I saw a passel of pigs Some of them were tiny and some of them were big But those pink friends of mine surely didn't disappoint Cos the pig goes oink Then I saw a herd of cows Some of them were quiet and some of them were loud But the one thing I noticed that they'd all do Was the cows all moo Hanging out with my animal friends I hope this fun will never end The pigs say oink and the cows all moo What do the other animals do? Then I saw a flock of sheep Some would make noise and others wouldn't make a peep But the one commonality that they all had Was the sheep said baa Then I saw some horses too They stared at me and they're staring at you And the one thing I noticed that they'd all say Was the horse says neigh Hanging out with my animal friends I hope this fun will never end The sheep says baa and the horse says neigh What do the other animals say?
4.
IF YOU'RE FEELING SICK LENA: If you're feeling sick, I feel for you If you're feeling sick, I feel for you So make a bowl of soup, then chill out in bed And wrap a hot towel around your head You should take good care of yourself It's okay to ask your mom and dad for help So take a couple pills, and drink water too Any time now, this illness will pass you through I hope you get better soon I hope you get better soon I hope you get better soon I hope you get better soon If you're feeling sick, I understand If you're feeling sick, I understnad So take a nice warm bath and breathe in deep Maybe take a nap and drift off to sleep I hope you get better soon I hope you get better soon I hope you get better soon I hope you get better I hope you get better I hope you get better soon.
5.
CHANGE CAN BE HARD LENA: Change can be hard Hard to process at times Let's say you're moving to a different house You'll have to tell all your old friends goodbye And that can really hurt sometimes. Change can be hard It can be stressful when you're moving away All of your things will be in boxes Until you're in a whole different place someday But if you look on the bright side A change of scenery is always nice And I'm sure you'll make new friends soon Before you know it, you'll have a new room But until then Change can be hard When familiarity is blown away All of your things will be in boxes Until you're in a whole new place someday So just look on the bright side A change of scenery is always nice You can send letters to your friends in your old town Before you know it, your frown will turn upside down But until then I know it can seem scary. Just keep your chin up, and look forward to what the future holds. It'll be okay.

Overcast Day 02:34
OVERCAST DAY LENA: There are clouds in the sky today But the sun is still shining bright I better check the weather app The guys forecasted last night It's an overcast day That's what the weathermen say The clouds are out but the sun is too And this might be confusing to you I tried going outside today But it rained and got me soaked So I brought an umbrella but The sun came and things didn't go as I'd hoped It's an overcast day That's what the weathermen say The clouds are out but the sun is too And this may be confusing to you There are clouds in the sky today And it seems that they're clearing up So the sun is here stay Now we can do more outsidey stuff It's a beautiful day The sun is here to stay The clouds were out, but now they're gone And that is the end of this song.
7.
IT WAS AN ACCIDENT LENA: So you spilled some milk So you fell and hurt yourself And you scraped your knee Well just take it from me It's not your fault Don't you worry at all I understand what you meant Because it was an accident So you shattered a glass Everything happened so fast So you ruined that dress We can just clean up this mess It's not your fault Don't you worry at all I understand what you meant Because it was an accident Everyone makes mistakes Nobody's perfect, and that's okay Let's be more careful next time I know you didn't mean it, and that's just fine Just understand what you did wrong Then try something else, and it won't be wrong for long And that is the point of this song.
8.
ALL KINDS OF CANDY LENA: Walking around the candy store I see all kinds of candy, and still I see more I'm having a hard time trying to pick what I want Even when I look through the window in the storefront I see chocolates and bubblegum and licorice too Cotton candy that'll turn my tongue blue Salted taffy and little Swiss rolls Gummi bears and donut holes Jellybeans and candy corn and mints as well Licorice and M&Ms and caramels Skittles and Kit Kats and jawbreakers Jolly Ranchers and Butterfingers Am I going too fast for you? What do I see surrounding me A gargantuan display of all kinds of candy I just can't decide what I want to consume I might get overwhelmed just looking across the room I see Mars Bars and toffee and Tootsie Roll Pops Raisinettes and tiny gumdrops Candy canes and Milky Ways Peppermints and Ferrero Rocher Sour Patch Kids and even Pop Rocks Ginger snaps and gumballs and Dots Tiny cookies, ice cream and Sweet Tarts And even those little Valentine's Day hearts Oh yeah I think I'll go home now And take some time to think this one out Then I'll return tomorrow or so I just need to think about it, then I'll know I want everything and anything you have in stock My sweet tooth will never stop Eating candy is so much fun I don't think I'll ever be done Sugary sweetness in my mouth I'll never get this sugar rush out Eating candy makes me so glad But too much of a good thing can be quite bad.
9.
YOU CAN'T WIN THEM ALL LENA: So you've practiced for months and you think you're prepared But when you get out there, you become quite scared You failed the audition, or you lost the game But I believe just the same You can try again Who knows, you just might win You can get 'em next time, you just gotta try Though sometimes you may fall, you can't win 'em all Losing feels bad, nobody likes to lose Though there's something through our failures that we all can use We can learn from our mistakes, and try something else And hopefully that might help And don't be so hard on yourself So you can try again Who knows, you just might win You can get 'em next time, you just gotta try Though sometimes you may fall, you can't win 'em all Practice some more, and hone on your skill You can do it next time, I believe that you will You just need to give it another shot And don't tell yourself that you cannot And give it all you've got So when you try again Who knows, you just might win You can get 'em next time, you just gotta try Though sometimes you may fall, you can't win 'em all Try again Try again.
10.
IT'S TIME TO GO HOME LENA: Well everybody, it appears that this is the last song on this album of mine. And I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for listening. So here's something about music that I'd like to teach you, particularly on vocal harmonies. This is a little thing I wrote which can be used to demonstrate solos, duets, and trios. It's time to go home It's time to go home now The moon shines bright in the sky The sun went to say goodbye I don't like to leave I never like leaving, now But we all have to go Until the new day says hello See, that was a solo. That means that only one person sang that part. I'd like to bring some friends of mine now, to sing the rest of this song with me. This next part is a duet, which means two people sing it. It's time to go home It's time to go home now We all have things to do And I'm sure that you have things too We all need some sleep We all need some sleep right now It's way past my bedtime I want to wake up when the sun shines So, we heard a solo and a duet. Now let's hear a trio. That's when three people sing a part together. It's time to go home It's time to go home now We all have things to do And I'm sure that you have things too We all need some sleep We all need some sleep right now It's way past my bedtime I want to wake up when the sun shines Well, goodbye everybody. It's been fun!

This album is a revolution in children's music. You can let your kids listen to it!

Well, okay, let me elaborate.
Lena Jillian Irwindale was born on March 6, 1996. She studied music and came out of Michigan State University alive with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. Now she's a babysitter in Texas. When I asked her how she got into music, she told me, "I suppose it's just in our DNA." She does have a background, having played violin, ukulele (and pronouncing it correctly, too), and she even marched for the color guard when she was in high school, but guitar is her main instrument. Lena rightfully believes that music is a universal language that can be used to communicate anything with anyone. She uses her music as a form of communication with the children she babysits. Fear not, no sitting on babies is involved.
I met Lena at a coffee shop. She went before me during open mic night, and I thought she was brilliant, as a songwriter and as a musician. We talked a lot about music theory, as well as ways to subvert expectations in music, and we wrote a couple songs together, including a song called "Meat Monster" which is slated to appear as the titular track to David Haunt's latest film production (coming soon), as well as some songs that are going to be on my own next few albums. Then she expressed to me that she wanted to record an album, and I offered myself as producer, to which she accepted. Lena is funny and extremely pleasant to work with, and the album that she made is really wonderful. On this album, children will learn that diversity is cool, different animals have different group names and different sounds, moving isn't so scary, and that accidents happen, among many other things that the newest generation of kids should know.
